Early Scan (5w6d) - tested positive early & strong beta - likely to see hb or not!?

Hi, I'm currently pregnant from a frozen embryo transfer. I had an ectopic & several chemical's so super anxious & cautious about believing that I'm actually pregnant right now. I'm booked in for an early scan at 5w6d because I'm going away & need to know it's not ectopic.

Has anyone else got experience, good or bad, of having a scan this early? Did you see anything? A heartbeat or not?

More info is that ... I tested positive early, at like 4dp5dt which is the equivalent to 9dpo. My beta's are rising (11dp at 741 & 13dp 1960) so I'm hopeful that I'll see something given that it didn't implant late & beta's are rising...

It’s possible you may see a flicker but in my experience it’ll depend on whether the person taking the ultrasound will call it or not so try not to be disappointed if you don’t get that information, it’s still super early.

Forgot to add, I’ve had two pregnancies scanned at 6 weeks. The first, clearly a flicker but the nurse wasn’t confident so didn’t call it, the HB was there the following week. The second 6 week scan was done by the consultant and she was clearly confident enough to tell me there was a HB.

Thanks so much for the replies. Ive my scan tomorrow morning so hopefully will find out then. Its a private scan so hopefully they'll be confident enough to say, if they see something. Its actually exactly 12hrs from now. Eek. Nervous

Thanks everyone. Positive news - saw baby, yolk sac & a heartbeat ❤️. Still very early days, baby was on 2mm & heartbeat was very hard to measure but it's in the uterus & is looking good. A step in the right direction ❤️🤞🏻🤞🏻
