Protein in urine but blood pressure fine?

I'm 31 weeks and at my appointment today they said they had found protein in my urine but my blood pressure was fine (115 62) and I had no other warning signs of pre clampsia.

They are sending the sample off and will let me know if any issues.

Babys growth went from bang on the 50% percentile line to now a is below the 50% line. Growth scan potentially on the cards for future but for now they are waiting to the next measurement to decide.

Should I be concerned?

A couple of times I've had protein come up in my urine & usually it's because I haven't drunk enough water and then when I do it's all good again. My DAU ward also said to try wiping before doing a urine sample as sometimes protein can be found in discharge and can throw the result off! I had pre eclampsia with my previous pregnancy so super cautious with any potential symptoms this time 😊

I've had this a few times. It could be a sign of another issue - UTI/ dehydration are the usual causes. Best to get checked. But in the interim see if you can up your fluid intake and perhaps try a rehydration drink.

I had this once and it was nothing - probably from discharge or not getting a mid wee sample. They sent it off but weren't fussed due to blood pressure being fine. Never got any call back and all subsequent samples fine. I'm sure it's nothing at all x
