So, I just got a very faint line on both FRER and Clearblue. I am nearly 8 weeks PP after an EMCS.
I am going to retest in the morning to be sure as this is afternoon test... We've been using condom's everytime. Help!

I should add I also had a period 3ish weeks ago, I am baffled.

If the timings don't make sense re intercourse then you should ask to be checked for retained products, there may be some placenta left.

Thanks for the reply.

Took another test this morning and it's still faint but darker than yesterday's FRER. Would it likely still possibly be retained products?

Seems unlikely, sounds like a trip to the docs either way x

Yeah I would agree on the that one!

Thanks so much

Sorry to post again.

This morning I did a FRER with first morning urine and it was negative so I assumed chemical, later on in the day I did another and it was a faint positive with definite colour in it. Any ideas? I'm so confused at this point and I need to know ASAP really :/ and I don't want to see the GP with a faint positive if you see what I mean.

I think it's probably more important to go with a faint positive as it's more likely to be retained products. The longer you leave it the more open you are to infection.

If it's a pregnancy then there are other considerations because of your recent C-section.

I don't think you can leave going to the doctor I'm afraid.
