On holiday in heat during first trimester?

Ive been walking round a hot city (in shade) and getting on busy buses. It is only 27degrees so not that bad.. but I cant find what temperature is likely to cause damage(for Northern Europeans not accustomed to heat)? It seems 39 degrees body temp is dangerous but I dont think carrying a thermometer around would help!
Am I worrying too much? Does the warning apply only to more extreme heat?

You're worrying too much.

Stay out of the sun for prolonged periods of time and stay well hydrated. Your internal body temp is unlikely to reach serious fever levels if you're sensible.

No. Your body can regulate its internal temperature - you'd stop working otherwise. I was pregnant in the 40°+ heatwave last year. She's fine!

Like the PP, I was also heavily pregnant during last year's heatwave and have a very healthy 10 month old!

You’re definitely thinking too much, just drink plenty. For any damage to the baby your core temperature would need to increase dramatically, which would also be a big problem for you too. Just try to stay cool as it’s miserable being pregnant when it’s hot.
