I would like to say a big thank you to whomovedmychocolate, you answered one of my threads (frustration!! 23/01/08) and it made my whole birthing experience a whole lot more easier. When I went to see the consultant on the monday she gave me a sweep but said my uterus was still long and wasnt hopeful of me going into labour on my own. We both decided in the end that i would have a c-section (i cant quite remember why now!) so i was booked in for tuesday the 5th Feb, thankfully the sweep seemed to help things along and on sunday afternoon imy labour started, i went into established labour at about 8pm after my waters were broken ( my contractions completely stopped after having an epidural!!) and finally gave birth to a beautiful baby boy weighing 7lb 12oz at 2.20am 4th Feb 08 and felt so proud of myself and it was thanks to your post i feel that made it a bit easier for me. Unfortunately things didnt go as planned after that...i had planned to get home as soon as possible but for some very strange reason i had 5 seizures within 24 hrs, the 1st was not long after giving birth...this was the worst as it caused me to drop my baby (i was holding him at the time!!) and fall on top of him! he went blue and they rushed him to the SCBU....thankfully he was fine and they kept him there for 2 days just to make sure. after that i had another 4 fits but i dont remember them at all...infact i have lost the last 3 months or so of memory (i still kinda remember the birth...and ur thread obviously lol) but this is being investigated as i do not suffer from epilepsy.
Anyway i felt i had to come and say a big THANK YOU
Kirsty (minus my Riley bump!!!!)

Congrats Lutonlass, and I hope Whomovedmychocolate sees this. She might be away though.. since 'I' moved her chocolate and she may be looking for it.

She'll say she's gone off chocolate now. But we knew she'd say that and so we know she's just trying to look clever.

Hey I only just saw this but I'm glad that all worked out for you.
