Cramps 27 weeks pregnant

Much as the title suggests, I am 27 weeks pregnant and have been having some period like cramping recently, it seems to be mainly evenings. Has anyone else had this? Should I be concerned or is it nornal?

Hiya, I'm also 27 weeks and I've been having period cramps and tightening in the evening! Are you still experiencing them? I went into triage and said I was worried so they did a monitor and checked my cervix but all was ok so I came home. X

Hello! I have 3 DC. I get braxton hick cramps very early on in pregnancy- i also dilate early which is v unusual- what I would say is that you only really should go be checked if the cramps are regular and come in waves consistently. I had many cramps with all mine but labour with 2 of them was v obvious every 4 minutes cramps coming in waves. My DD caused a threatened labour at 31 weeks- i timed the contractions period like tightening coming every 10 mins or so- went in and they saw the contractions- ended up on bedrest and medication in hospital for a week abd bedrest as much as possible at home until 37 weeks. Made it to 38 weeks. So time them for regularity but more likely than not esp your first it's braxton hicks which are not regular
