...since being pregnant???

My ability to make tea has totally disappeared. It is so bad it is undrinkable and i don't know why.

On the other hand my bed sheet changing ability has improved ?!?

What superpowers have you lost/gained since being pregnant?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I have totally lost my power of thought.

My mind is a total blank, a big, empty hole.

I can't think of anything....

MrsTittleMouse · 21/02/2008 17:58

Leg waxing is suddenly much more bearable.

finallypregnant · 21/02/2008 18:04

My memory sticks every now and again and I can no longer take tomato sauce with my chips!

FrannyandZooey · 21/02/2008 18:09

I can't remember a song from start to finish

as I run children's groups this is more serious than it otherwise could be, and publically embarrassing to boot

Minkus · 21/02/2008 19:08

I have virtually no patience at all and get very irritated by ridiculous things (dh is the most frequent ridiculous thing I get annoyed by )

I can sleep heavily for England now at the drop of a hat though, takes me appro8.5 nanoseconds to fall into a very deep sleep!

CantSleepWontSleep · 21/02/2008 19:12

I have lost the power to stay awake for a complete day, which is rather a problem with a 2 yo to look after by myself!

misboo · 21/02/2008 22:30

I too have lost my mind and memory actually. But sleeping has improved i must admit. And my ability to feel guilty for said sleeping while DH works hard is diminishing fast

I have lost the power to hold more than two numbers in my head.
1, 2... er..

Bugger.
STUPID brain trainer. I may have thrown it across the room. Sorry about that.

walkingwomb · 22/02/2008 12:05

I have lost the power to make young men flirt with me

sweetkitty · 22/02/2008 12:09

agree have totally lost my memory and power of thought.

turtle23 · 22/02/2008 14:20

Can no longer make yummy bolognaise. Keep trying and it's very upsetting as it's my comfort food and it tastes WRONG.

Excitable · 24/02/2008 10:48

I haven't lost the power to make young men flirt with me. I now have ginormous tits and they all want to be my best friend!

My memory sticks too - that's exactly how it feels.

DH says I have lost the power of cooking, but it's more acurate to say I've lost interest in cooking!

littlebeezz · 24/02/2008 17:04

my memory is so bad that my boss is pressuring me to take my maternity leave........im only 17weeks!
but i can wee on demand!

pigleychez · 24/02/2008 17:58

Yep.... find my stop stopping half way through a converstaion, Completely forgetting what we were talking about in the first place!

Sorry.. what was the topic again??

hedgehog1979 · 24/02/2008 18:21

i am quite jealous of all of you who can sleep for england as I have lost that power.

I do however ache everywhere - knees, back, hips, wrists (may be associated with slipping in the bath), neck.

Can both wee and vomit on demand, and I am 23+5 (tmi sorry )

So I think the only Superpower I have gained according to the T Shirt my sister got for me is....the ability to grow people!!
