Is this something to be concerned about? It's basically my lower back, the pain is dull and like being held in a vice! But once I sit up at the edge of the bed (normally 2am for 20 minutes) it'll pass then come back again hours later which is making sleeping so bloody hard I'm absolutely exhausted and think having a newborn here would be easier actually! Least I wouldn't be in pain. Also is it wise to take 2x paracetamol every time this happens? I don't need it during the day, in fact there's zero pain in my back in the day and it's not my bed because I've had the bed a while and no issues beforehand. I'm thinking of buying a tens machine it's that bad but I never had this with my other two x

Hi op I didn't want to read and leave... firstly congratulations..

I was like this with my son. I had to sleep non my left hand side and stretch my legs out as much as I can.. to be honest with thatbi also had RLS so that didn't make it easy... my sleeping pattern was horrible.. I was a vampire awake at nights and sleep during the day..

Please don't over take paracetamol... I would recommend taking 2 before bed x

It could be the position of your baby and them moving around at night or just how you're lying in bed.

It could also be Branston hicks. I got no contractions in my stomach and lots in my back with both babies.
