18 weeks 3 days and need my wisdom teeth out . One tooth especially is giving me severe pain , offered a partial root canal (taking the nerve out and temp filling) Are the injections to numb the mouth safe ? as I have read that some injections used to numb mouth crosses the placenta although unsure what type of injection uk dentist use . Thanks In advance x

They know what they're doing. Just get it done

It's fine. I've had lots of dental work done in pregnancy. Pregnancy itself caused me to have problems.

Yes I had 2 wisdom teeth out in pregnancy. They know which local anaesthetic is safe in pregnancy and will act accordingly.

As above. It's perfectly safe. It would be a bigger issue to ignore a problem and for infection to occur during pay
