Cluster headaches

Hello,
I’m almost 7 weeks based on LMP and have begun suffering with really bad cluster headaches over one eye. I have had these before (usually the day after drinking beer!) but these feel a bit worse and last for two days…
I’ve also had some mild nausea that’s ramped up this week and wonder if it’s all connected.
anyone else experienced this? Is it normal?
also any advice for managing them most welcome :)

Definitely normal unfortunately. You can take paracetamol, but it doesn’t really touch cluster headaches. Make sure you’re hydrated, as your body needs a lot more water during pregnancy.

As for the nausea, it should get better in the second trimester. Eat little and often and have boiled sweets to hand.

@ES1986 thanks such a lot for this. It’s useful to know this isn’t unusual at least, albeit extremely grim! Thank you for those tips too. I don’t think I’ve drunk enough water to compensate for the extra fluid needed, so will definitely address that. Thanks again!
