Canesten three day treatment twice

My doctor told me to take canesten duopack three-day treatment twice in a row (six days of pessaries instead of three) to treat a yeast infection. Has anyone done this during pregnancy? I feel like I'm overdosing and am worried about my baby. Thanks!

Why don’t you try and make an appointment with a different GP to ask about this maybe? The pessaries aren’t contraindicated in pregnancy so in theory won’t hurt your baby but understand why you would want to do the normal dose! I would talk to a doctor about your worries.

Thanks. It's so hard to trust doctors. I won't be able to get in with another GP, as they are all fully booked and not accepting other people. I might phone the nurses line to check.

@SummerBaby23 Thanks! I can't read the article outside of the UK. I imagine it says it's all good to continue up to 7 days? What's the mg of the pessaries in the article? Mine are 200 mg a piece.
