so on the 8th my hcg level was at 98.7 and then today they it has risen to 221... when I was speaking to the nurse on phone she didn't seem too positive and said "can't be sure it's going to be a viable pregnancy" it's left me feel abit confused and feeling unsure like I'm starting to doubt the pregnancy now 🤦‍♀️ I have googled hcg ranges and is mine on a low side ladies?.. to those who have had their hcg's done would be lovely to hear what yours was if similar to mine and if your pregnancy was successful or not.. TIA x

Depends how far along you are to be honest. Doubling is always a great sign though x

@MummyTo4BoysXXXX it's tough because the bandings are really wide. It is a little on the low side but the rise is good. How did she leave it with you? What did she suggest? Xx

MummyTo4BoysXXXX · 10/06/2023 20:23

@CR7 just basically offered me a scan for the 16th which is Friday.. said their was no point to keep taking bloods as they have doubled.. no wonder she said that then so they are low then.. ohh it doesn't look promising does it :/ x

CR7 · 10/06/2023 20:26

@MummyTo4BoysXXXX it's really hard. The bandings as I said are wild. So hard to know anything really especially as you don't know exactly where you are up to (understandably)

She's right in saying no point continuing to test and Friday will give you a long enough gap to see where the numbers are up to.

I know it's easier said than done but the stress will not help you. You just have to ride out the days til Friday and try to stay sane.

I've just gone through my fourth round of ivf, I'm now at 9.5 weeks so trust me. I know what a rollercoaster this is xx

MummyTo4BoysXXXX · 10/06/2023 21:02

@CR7 no more bloods are being taken just a scan on Friday and thanks hun for your positivity x

Hi OP.
It's not the level that matters, but the rate at which it increases.
They're now saying that a 35% increase in two days is good, not the 50% they said before.
I think your levels are fine.

MummyTo4BoysXXXX · 10/06/2023 21:07

@TheShellBeach thank-you for the reasurrance.. Have you had your bloods took before?

@CR7 no more bloods are being taken just a scan on Friday and thanks hun for your positivity x

Keep us posted. Will be thinking of you x

BagelO · 10/06/2023 22:56

These were my recent levels and DR was not worried:

69 Wednesday (13dpo / 3 + 6 weeks)
214 Friday (15dpo / 4 + 1 weeks)

I think if they are rising as they should (double) they get high so quickly .
You could just be closely to 4 weeks.

keep us updated and sending positivity 🙏

MummyTo4BoysXXXX · 11/06/2023 09:20

@CR7 i will do thanks 😊 x
@BagelO i should be between 4 & 5 weeks, according to nhs due date based on lmp im 5 weeks on monday, and thank you so much! 😊 x

I had slow rising hcg, my first scan at 6 weeks showed only a gestational sack, next scan a week later there was baby!

It can happen.

Your numbers are fine they are doing what they are meant to xx

MummyTo4BoysXXXX · 14/06/2023 20:43

@cookielove thanks hun for the reassurance! Have you had your baby? May I ask did everything go ok for you x

OP posts:
cookielove · 15/06/2023 09:38

@MummyTo4BoysXXXX

Yes, i have had that baby. He is now 3. Aside from the very wobbly beginning my pregnancy was very easy going. And my kkd is awesome!

MummyTo4BoysXXXX · 15/06/2023 09:57

@cookielove awww I'm glad everything went well for you 😊 I'm 22dpo and still showing as 2-3 weeks on a digital so my head is in panic mode it's been (6 days since I first got my 2-3 from 1-2) and with my last pregnancy son is now 7 months old I test 3+ on a digital by now so I'm worrying x

OP posts:
TheShellBeach · 15/06/2023 11:38

OP I know you're really anxious about your baby. It's understandable.

I was the same with mine but everything turned out fine. The pregnancy was normal and he was healthy.

Good luck for your scan tomorrow. I'll be thinking of you. xx

MummyTo4BoysXXXX · 15/06/2023 12:22

@TheShellBeach thankyou! I can't wait but feel nervous at the same time x

@MummyTo4BoysXXXX How did it go?

jadey1991 · 19/06/2023 15:45

Doubling is a good sign... how did your scan go

MummyTo4BoysXXXX · 19/06/2023 21:34

@TheShellBeach @jadey1991 didn't realise I hadn't updated this thread as I've posted about it on a few others I'm in... well went for my scan on Friday and all they could see was a 5mm gestational sac with nothing inside & going by lmp I should of been 5weeks+3days then so hoping it's a case of ovulating later then your average day 14.. as she classed it on her report "pregnancy of uncertain viability" so, I'm booked in for a scan again this Friday to see if their is any changed or progression 🤞 they also took bloods aswell that same day to see my hcg level xx thanks for asking 💕

I hope it'll be good news on Friday.
