WORRIED ABOUT SOME DISCHARGE

Hiya girls,

For the past couple of days ive been having 'more than normal' amounts of discharge, and sometimes it has a pinkish/brownish tint to it. I no its probaby nothing to worry about but is it normal?

I had a scan 2 weeks ago as i had a couple of occasions where i had some blood in my urine. After that again i had alot of brown discharge, i didnt have any then for about 2 weeks and now it seems to have come back. Should i be concerned? I havent got cramp or anything and i havent had any bleeding, just the tinted discharge.

How far gone are you?

I'm assuming that you are in the first trimester. In which case it is completely normal and nothing to worry about. Brown means old blood and it's just your body having a bit of a spring clean because it's got a guest for nine months.

Red blood is something to worry about but brown is generally fine.

However, if you are at all worried, contact your midwife who hopefully will put your mind at rest.

im just about 8 weeks and i have my booking in appointment with the midwife tomorrow.

Ive just spoke to the EPU and the nurse has said it doesnt sound like there is anything to worry about but still i think im feeling abit paranoid.

No its not red at all but its still got me worrying

Do you have a urine infection to cause the blood in your wee, I'm not sure pregnancy will do that (but I might be wrong).

It's totally natural for you to worry. When it happened to me I made dp drive me to A & E so they could tell me it was all fine

the blood in my urine was caused by a build up bleed of old blood, this was like 2 weeks ago and hasnt happened since. I was checked for an infection but my urine was clear and its not happened since.

When i spoke to the nurse she said i was basically overeacting because when i say a small bit of pinky/brown coulour i mean a small bit but im guessing its normal to be worrying about even the smallest of things...
