Hi all,

Just wondering what peoples experiences of Round ligamnet pains are.

I been researching and it sounds abit like what im experiencing now.
However none of the websites i looked at mentioned tenderness. Along my bikini line it is very tender. Hurts to touch and also tender if anything pushes against it.

Also been quite a constant dull pain all day as well as the sharp movement pains.

Im 19 weeks. Anyone any suggestions on how to ease it?

I had them in my first pregnancy, see a physio they will teach you how to stretch the legiments. i am only 7 weeks but find they are back, so have to stretch every day!

I've got something similar - like a stitch you might get from running but on my side - assume it's just a stretching pain. I'm 24 weeks and the size of a house though!

Think I am experiencing the same, am 17 weeks. Been bad for about 3-4 days now and is starting to hurt when I move, especially going upstairs! Did ask my midwife about it and she said to me that some discomfort is normal. Will bring it up with her at next appointment (next week) as I am sure there is something more I can do to help it. Said to my mum about it also and her response was 'oh yeah, thats normal, I had that!' Everyone knows giving birth is going to hurt, but no one ever actually tells you that being pregnant hurts!! I have a friend who is 7 months pregnant and she experienced similar and got reffered to a physio, so may look into this and I have heard that yoga/pilates could help.
