So sorry for your loss, i am also sorry to break it to you, but that's nearly 100% the miscarriage, the hcg levels remain in your body for a number of weeks after, it's just not possible to be pregnant again and showing on a pregnancy test 2 weeks later.

The advice is generally to take a test 3 weeks after the miscarriage has completed to get a negative to ensure everything has came away, if ut is still showing positive you should contact your epu to get a scan to check for retained tissue, the epu should have told you all of this. I'm sorry I see you're excited

I’m really sorry OP, I could be wrong but it maybe be that you still have hormones from your MMC. I’m sorry that you went through that ☹️ x

Sorry that's my mistake. The mmc was 27th April 😂 sorry ladies. Had a neg test since the miscarriage.

@abbmebtdab oh well that is a pig with a different snout lol congrats x

I think you will basically have to wait until a scan to get dates, they advise to wait one period for this reason, any ideas from when you did the baby dance?

That took a positive turn 😏 congratulations! Xx

@38andtrying 😂😂 I must of looked like a right idiot after that first comment! 🤦‍♀️
Well we DTD constantly if truth be told so that's no help at all lol.

@abbmebtdab it is such good news, id call the epu and ask for some advice on it, if you are lucky they might give you a scan :)

moosey89 · 09/06/2023 15:59

Honestly it's going to be hard to tell until you get a scan I reckon, but congratulations!! You could get an early scan from the EPU and they might also do bloods to make sure your HCG is increasing as it should, which would help give a broad-ish range of dates.

Daisydoo12345 · 09/06/2023 16:11

Aw well congratulations! Xx

Congratulations Op!

It will be so difficult to tell without a scan, but it’s definitely possible you ovulated late though. I had a mmc (took the tablets at home on 24th May last year) and didn’t ovulate until 16th June. Did fall pregnant though with that one and have a 13 week old baby now :)

EPU scanned me at 6 weeks once they’d done bloods to be sure my hcg was over 1000 (it was 24,000). Best of luck!x

Was just thinking maybe take a digital clear blue and see what it says just a rough kind of guide?
