I was told by my nan not to cross my legs whilst pregnant.

Why???

because she's mad

It is bad for your pelvic stability at all times, but especially when preggers as your connective tissue is softer and easier to hurt! Also, it restricts blood flow to the peripheral venous system and makes you more prone to varicose veins.
Hard though, innit?

I've been told by my physio and a chiropractor not to, but I'm suffering from sPD - so crossing your legs jiggers up your pelvis. I have to basically be "ladylike" in everything I do and keep my legs together at all times - like getting out of bed/sitting/getting out of the car.

It's also not great for your circulation - if you're prone or likely to get varicose veins then DO NOT sit with your legs crossed.

I think your nan was right - sorry
