NOT SURE WHATS GOING ON

Hi All

As the title says really not sure what’s happening , just looking to see if anyone has ever been in the same situation

Have had 3 positive pregnancy tests in the last two weeks

Went for a scan today - no foetus on the scan that they could see but
they did find two cysts in my ovaries

Bloods were taken to try and establish what’s going on

Fast forward three hours and the hospital phoned me back

They have looked at my blood results and my HCG level is 20 which is extremely low in a pregnancy
They want to repeat bloods next week

They said it could be an early miscarriage

Has this happened to anyone else

Hi op I've never experienced what you have but foe them to rule out an early miscarriage is mind blowing... I mean have you had any symptoms of bleeding or anything relating to a miscarriage.

Not sure how I feel tbh , confused and worried probably the best two words I can think off

They said it’s potentially a miscarriage as nothing could be seen on the scan
Going with my dates they should be able to see something if there was a foetus there
I did have a bleed so didn’t think I was pregnant but three tests told me a different story

Should know no more next Tuesday
Going to be the longest week every thinking of all eventualities

Hi OP. Unfortunately I had something similar back in May. Went to EPU as I'd had some pinky discharge, and do be honest not overly concerned I just wanted to check.

I should have been 7 weeks going by my LMP but when they did the scan all I had was an empty sac measuring around 4 weeks. Did bloods and my Hcg was over 600, plan was to repeat bloods in 48 hours and scan in 2 weeks.

Unfortunately that evening I started bleeding and that was the end. Turns out I had a blighted ovum, often called a silent miscarriage.

I'm keeping everything crossed for you. I really don't want to scare you just wanted to share my experience with something similar.
