Hi there! I'm currently 4 weeks pregnant and having to pick a hospital for my C-section. I need a C-section as I had an open myomectomy surgery in Oct to remove a large fibroid. Can you please recommend a good hospital? I'm currently in Croydon but happy to travel. How's Kingston hospital for c sections?

I would have thought most hospitals are much of a muchness for planned C-sections.

Best off thinking about distance, is it easy to get there/park for appointments etc

C sections are much of a much news but your risk is slightly higher as you may have adhesions. I would be looking at hospitals that have on site blood banks, such as St George’s in Tooting who are specialists for gynae surgery, and have blood bank on site

I would go for the hospital with the shortest journey home. Being in a car after a c section is unpleasant, you want it to be over quickly.
