Hi all I am currently 27 weeks pregnant
I see my maternity doctors a lot because of my blood pressure
I had severe early onset preeclampsia in my first pregnancy which sadly I lost my son, then I had two pregnancies after both with gestational hypertension and my last I got cholestasis but luckily just before my c section so my girl was fine 👏
I had perfect blood pressure until around 22 weeks pregnant and now before I take my medication it’s around 145/92
I have had headaches on and off for 3 weeks thankfully paracetamol does help
normal labs and no protein but consultant is concerned
has anybody else had this? Did you end up with preeclampsia again? Did you have to deliver early? Did the blood pressure keep creeping up even on medication?
I should also add my preeclampsia was atypical so I had blood pressure problems and loads of complications in my first pregnancy but normal labs (I think they never told me otherwise) + I’m sure my urine was normal too but due to BP and complications they diagnosed me
they don’t call it atypical but I’m sure that’s the term for it
