I’m 31 weeks and haven’t pooped for over a week. I was prescribed laxatives 5 days ago but they haven’t worked. Has anyone tried something else that helped them? I’m worried about a blockage and needing medical help so any other suggestions would be gratefully appreciated!

If you go to the chemist they should be able to give you glycerol (i think) suppositories. Not the nicest thing in the world, but I have it on good authority that they're a godsend!
After a terrible blockage a few weeks ago, I've kept some in my cupboard on hand since!

You’ve probably tried these natural ideas already but give kiwi a go. Couple of kiwis every day. Up the water by more than you think is necessary and go for a good long walk. It’s horrible. Hope it sorts itself soon for you x

I bought lactulose over the counter. Taking 10ml two times a day, seems to have helped. Does taste VERY sugary though!
