Just found our I'm pregnant (5 weeks on Thursday) but I've noticed I'm really enjoying how my food tastes and wondering if its a symptom! I thought you were supposed to be put off food but I'm finding everything I'm eating tastes so much better than I ever remember; a tuna sandwich, stir fry, spag bol - like sooooo tasty lol what is this and will it last?!

Congratulations @Strawberry06 !! Yep thats definitely a thing, I have it too, even buttered toast tastes like a gourmet meal. I know that pregnancy makes your sense of smell better so maybe it has something to do with that?! I generally have a terrible sense of smell but both in my previous pregnancy and this one it is suddenly amazing...sadly it disappeared again after my last pregnancy. Enjoy all the delicious food :)

Yes I had this early on, everything just tasted better. Even mundane things like I couldn't get over how good a ham and cheese sandwich was 😂

Embrace it 😊 I could only eat bland but fattening foods for the first 10/11 weeks. Now I can eat anything I like but only a very small portion as I feel constantly full (of baby)

this is so me!! I'm really struggling. Making delicious meals that I sit down to and don't want to eat. Surviving on toast. Nightmare xx
