Hi everyone,

Sorry for complaining. I'm just wondering if there's anything I can do to feel better and be less annoying to be around or if it wears off.

I'm 6 weeks pregnant with second child. We were trying over a year so I expected to be so excited when I got pregnant. I do know I'm lucky .

But I'm feeling really meh. Food tastes odd, feel a bit nauseous, tired. Lots of things going wrong with our new house - it wasnt a wise purchase. I can't quite explain it, I'm just not looking forward to anything and feeling I have a million chores to do that i cant get done. Even my job that I liked until recently i cant wait to leave.

It’s completely normal. Having a baby is a huge life change. Even planned pregnancy can cause doubts and worries. Remember your body is going through a huge change right now, most symptoms are not pleasant and there’s lots of worries during the first trimester. I felt the same when I got pregnant with my third, no excitement I felt with the others and really worried that I’d made a mistake, just felt a bit meh about it. Then I had a bleed at 9 weeks and all I cared about was that the baby was ok. It put everything into perspective. Thankfully everything was fine.
