Huge early bump with second pregnancy. Does bump growth slow down later on?

I'm 13+ 4 and my bump is around the same size as it was at 25/26 weeks the last time that I was pregnant. I knew that I'd pop sooner in my second than in my first pregnancy, but the rate of growth has been crazy!

Will the growth slow down and eventually come in line with what it was in my first pregnancy, or am I destined to be twice as big this time around?!

My bump popped sooner and was undeniably noticeable from 8w with Baby2 but by the end of pregnancy I looked exactly the same size and shape as with Baby1. Not sure when it started levelling out but t definitely did.

Has for me. I am not much bigger at 20 weeks than earlier in my pregnancy. I was weirdly large from ~9 weeks.

Had to comment as I'm 13 + 4 with my second too! And I also feel enormous compared to this stage last time! I don't have the answer I'm afraid but hoping it evens out later...

Yes I was the same but by the time the midwife started measuring the bump (26/28 weeks maybe?) it had evened out and was average for gestation from then on.

With my second and third I got a lot of bloating. Which is likely a lot of what yours is. Your uterus doesn’t come out of your pelvis until around 12 weeks. You can show sooner with consecutive pregnancies but not that much. By the end you the bloat will go and it’ll be all baby.
