It’s my 2nd baby. My DS is 19mo so I just feel so exhausted atm (I’m 9 weeks) sick and also scared

its smaller age gap than I wanted (surprise baby) so I’m grateful for a nice smooth pregnancy so far but yeah

im really scared for having a 2 ish year age gap! I’m scared so much I don’t know why

but feel so guilty for not feeling overly excited like I was with DS :(

Pregnant with toddler is HARD. I think its ok to have some reservations, and very normal to.be more aware of potential pitfalls second time round. Tiredness stopping you doing things with your children sucks...

I'm expecting number 4 at the moment. My eldest is very easy (6yo) but my 2.5 year old twins are like chaotic puppies! They've had a lot more screen time since I've been pregnant as I'm just a bit too tired to do things with them that cause too much cleaning up! It makes me much less excited than I was 7 years ago when I was expecting eldest.... I used to spend evenings relaxing to keep the morning sickness at bay, avoid cooking and on Friday I used to go to bed at 6pm straight after getting in from work (DH has a hobby then). Definitely cant do ANY of that now. It's physically tougher when you have a child already.

My experience last time though, was that you will still love and enjoy them just as much as your first once they are here. And when they are old enough to play together, it's the most wonderful thing to see. When my twins tell my eldest they love her my heart totally melts.

@TinyTeacher number 4!! Hats off to you mama :)

it is hard isn’t it? I feel guilty too when I look back at my first pregnancy and think about how I rested ! Aha. I miss the early bed times and not having all sorts to do

this baby will be very loved and I do know seeing them both grow together will be amazing

but as you say it’s so tough all I can see is my exhaustion and nausea atm :(
