TMI Discharge at 9 weeks - anyone had this?

Hello ladies. I’m 9 weeks pregnant and I have had green snot-like discharge for the whole of this pregnancy so far. TMI: it is jelly-like, comes out in long pieces, particularly if I have been ahem straining. (Constipation is well underway). I’ve done a whole pack of BV gels, and when they didn’t work, I called GP who sent swab off for analysis. The swab came back negative for any infection. I’ve just been to loo and the discharge was blood-streaked. I have a teenager and remember the show - it looks very much like that.

I went for an early private scan this week and they advised baby is low in uterus, so I have NHS scan on Wednesday. I can’t call EPU about it as I know they’ll just say to wait until Wednesday.

Has anyone experienced this? I am suffering quite badly with anxiety as I had a miscarriage last year and it has taken us a whole year of trying to conceive again. I’m also nearly 37 so feel like time is running out. I was so happy to see a heartbeat, but just feel I’m going to lose this one. Thanks to anyone who read this far. I know no one can change the outcome and what will be will be.

Hey, unfortunately I can’t help I’m afraid, but just wanted to say I think I’m in the same boat as you. This will be my third pregnancy and hopefully my first full term, so I understand your anxiety ❤️ I’m 9 weeks and 1 day and have the exact same symptoms as you. No signs of infection, baby has healthy heart beat, but seems to me that I’m losing my plug?

Thank you for replying. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. It is awful to feel like you could be losing a healthy pregnancy, and I am so sorry for your previous losses. Have you contacted the EPU?

I have the exact same discharge as you, albeit without the blood streaks. I did have some pink tinged mucus at 6 and 8 weeks though.

I am currently 16 weeks and assumed from what my MW said that increased discharge is a normal symptom of pregnancy?

Just to offer some reassurance, your mucus plug continues to regenerate throughout the pregnancy, so it’s totally normal to occasionally lose bits. I drove myself crazy with panic over this when I was pregnant with DD last year, but all was fine in the end.

Thanks for the reassurance. I guess the question I'll ask at my next appointment is how much is too much.

I have this snot like mucus as well and have now practically whole pregnancy so far!
I'm 14 weeks and at about 7 weeks I was getting quite worried how creamy and yellow it was and I showed a doctor at the hospital.
She said it looked normal but she did swabs for my reassurance as I have high anxiety as well and they all came back clear.
None of mine has blood in but I did have spotting at 4.5 weeks and again at around 7 x
