Hello I’m just coming up to 5 weeks now, maybe 4+6d today, and been having brown/pink discharge for 6 days now..it’s on and off, isn’t at every single wipe and doesn’t seem to have fresh bright red blood like a proper period in but I’m so concerned and stressed out as to what on earth it could be? (Other than the obvious of a miscarriage which I really don’t want to happen even though I know it’s very early 😓) my lines on a test are strong currently.

Hiya OP. I'm sorry you're feeling anxious about this. I really feel like this could be implantation bleeding, especially if you've no real pain?? It's quite common so try not to worry but also just keep an eye on it too. Can I just add without being a know it all, tampons aren't meant to be used, especially in early pregnancy due to introduction of new germs etc. Just thought I'd say, Incase it was something you didn't know, good luck! Xx

Hi Catlover10, i.am 5weeks 2 days , going through a similar situation, have been spotting pink and brown since last couple of days. It shows only when I wipe and am not using any pads at the moment. Had an ultrasound scan this morning but of not much help as we couldn't spot the sac.
Please let me know how is your pregnancy going on.
Much appreciate.

Don't worry I had this at 7 months. Its common if your really concerned and gets worse just request another scan.

Hello it turns out it was just implantation bleeding they think, it’s so stressful waiting and worrying though as they couldn’t see the fatal pole on my scan at first either. I’m now 15 weeks pregnant 🙂hopefully you’ll be ok but keep in contact your local Epu for advice, they were quite helpful for me x

Hello, Catlover10 and Msbluebozooka
Oh so happy to hear that you both are okay after the spotting episode...such a relief. Last few days have been very stressful to me...I've been searching on the internet crazily. When it started I almost gave up on it. But I still have the symptoms of sore breasts, nausea, food cravings. Now the spotting has reduced to almost nothing so I'll just have to wait for few more days and go for another scan. Meanwhile on Monday I'll request for another blood test to see if HCG has gone up.
Thank for your inputs.❤️

Good luck keep us updated! Yes I remember I got a progesterone test and Hcg tests which were promising so this made me feel reassured even when the scans can’t reassure you so early!
