5+2 weeks pg and worried bout early scan

im 5+2weeks pg and ive had cramps for the past week, yesterday i did ANOTHER pg test but the positive line was really faint. today i went to epu and they said i had a definate poss test and then they sent me for scan [abdominal and vag one] and they could only see a sac and told me to come back in 10 days. they said the sac was in the right place and the right size. when i went back to the nurse she said this was normal and it was too early to see any thing. was she telling the truth or just trying to make me feel better? has anyone else had this happen to them and gone back and seen a baby and had healthy pregnancy.
im really worried as i dont feel pg like i did last time.

Yes, the nurse was right. You would expect a fetal pole by 6 weeks, and a heartbeat at some point between 6 and 8 weeks. I went through this as well, and went on to have a healthy PG.

thank u tc i feel like im having a nervous breakdown lol. since ive found out impg ive been waiting for something to go wrong i feel like im going to cause it to happen with all the stress.

you poor thing - try to hold on to the fact that they saw what they should have at this stage.

I had brown bleeding and went for a scan at the same time as you. Exactly the same result. The sac measured the right size but was still too early to see anything else. I continued to bleed and for a few days had awful cramps and backache. Went for follow up scan in two weeks and they saw baby and heartbeat. All measuring correctly. Your doing well for the moment, I know how worrying this time can be but try and think positively till the next scan.

I had an early scan
I didn't know my dates properly but I thought I was more than 8 weeks

They scanned me and said I was showing to be 5 +4 and that they can't see a heartbeat before 6 weeks

because I thought I was further on than that and panicky now, they saw me exactly one week later, so 6+4, and saw a heartbeat and everything as it should be

Everything will be fine
