Comfy Shoes

This feels like such an odd question.

I'm 15 weeks pregnant, my back is aching like mad, I have Sciatica which can make it really painful to do basic tasks at times. When I'm at work I'm basically on my feet the whole shift, ranging from 7-10 hours a day (I can sit down if I need too, my boss is very understanding but I work in hospitality if you sit down you're basically useless lol) but I have gone through so many pairs of shoes! I normally wear Chelsea boots in the winter and flat ballet pumps in the summer, I can't anymore with either of them I'm sure they're making my back worse. I have to wear smart shoes, trainers aren't an option for me as I'm management. Has anyone found some magical shoes that last well and are super comfortable, seems like such a sad question but I'm desperate lol

Hi @OnMyJourney omg Sketchers cream slip ons are amazing! I had huge ankles in my third trimester, these slip ons were so comfortable.
Congratulations on your pregnancy! Yay! xx

I agree with sketcher slip ons. I ran a hospitality venue when I was pregnant and on my feet all day also and they were so comfy

Hotter shoes, totally uncool but wow they are comfortable.

PickledScrump · 03/06/2023 14:58

do not get sketchers, they are really bad for your feet. New balance are meant to be really good but they only do trainers I think. I’ve heard those hotter ones are meant to be good too.

Thank you all for the sketchers suggestion but unfortunately my work does consider them trainers/running shoes which is so annoying ☹️

Next do a range called 'forever comfort' which might be worth a try? They have some plain pump and loafer styles.

I was going to suggest Crocs until I saw you work in hospitality 😂
