Some private ones still take kids and women with maternity exemption so it's worth asking. I found mine by accident, got dental treatment while pregnant and just switched to being a private patient when DD turned 1. DD is registered there as a child

If you still have relatives in London it may be as well to keep regular appointments with your dentists. London and plan visits when visiting relatives .
Other than that it's plough through the local dentists and hope , but in most areas the vast majority of dentists will not take on new NHS patients and Bradford is no exception to this https://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/latest/bradford/23353033.bradford-mp-hits-shocking-childrens-rotting-teeth-figures/

You just need to keep trying, 5 isn't that many to contact really. You need to also widen the area, if your closest one accepting patients is for example 20 miles away you take it and then try the closer ones again in a couple of months.

Try this not sure how up to date it is kept.

There are no nhs dentists in my area at all now. Unfortunately it’s a case of pay for private or don’t have a dentist
