Early gender scan 13 weeks?! Is this correct!

I've been predicted by nub/skull/ gender experts that I would be having a girl.

I was curious and a place near me does early gender scans from 13 weeks.

They've said the baby is definitely a boy!

And gave me these two images?!

Doesn't look like my sons or daughters scans but I did find out at (16+ with them!)

Would you say this looks normal for a boy!

The nub hasn't fully formed into a penis or labia until 14 weeks so no, you cannot have an early sex scan at 13 weeks in the way they seem to be promoting. If you want certainty at the gestation you need to do a NIPT test.

What clinic told you that they could do a gender scan at 13 weeks?? The earliest I've ever seen them advertised is 16 weeks.

I certainly wouldn't be putting anything the results of a 13 week scan.

Sorry to say but you’ve been scammed. They can’t tell you the sex that early as the genitals aren’t fully formed. Most places are 16 weeks at the earliest and even then I know of a lot that have been wrong. Best to wait until 20 week scan

I really wish there was someone you could report them to! This is straight up lying to get people’s money.
At 13 weeks it’s just a bit of a guess and not an exact thing, like the nubologists on FB etc. I wouldn’t trust a scan until at least 16 weeks.
At this gestation it would really need to be a blood test to be sure.
Hopefully the time passes quickly until your 20 week scan and you will know then.

Hi, Gender Experts said I was having a boy at 13wk 1 day and found out 3 weeks later it was having a girl.

Absolutely too soon to tell at 13 weeks by scan and I think it’s fraudulent to offer this as a service. 16 weeks absolute earliest, 17-18 better

With my first I was told I have a boy at 14 weeks which ended up being correct.

With this pregnancy I thought I saw something at my 12 wk scan and was confirmed its a boy at a private 15 wk scan, so its very likely they are correct with what they have said to you as boys are easier to spot early on.

Did you put those arrows on? Or did the clinic? Because the arrows point to umbilical cord

Had another scan at 16 weeks and she confirmed boy (different clinic!)

My anomaly scan is next week so think I'll get the best confirmation!

But think the 13 week was just a lucky guess haha!
