I had a membrane sweep today, the second attempt to get things started. Unfortunately my midwife wasn’t able to be successful with this, she said the babies head is really low down, but my cervix is too high?
I’ve noticed that following this, I’ve had some discharge, the only way I can explain it is that it’s almost like vaginal tissue. Very small clumps with the slightest bit of blood. The blood wasn’t bright red or really fresh. Could this be some of the membranes? It may not have been blood, it was a pink colour, almost like pink tissue
it wasn’t a drastic amount, the slightest bit, on two occasions. I haven’t experienced any pain or discomfort along with this. I’m just curious as I didn’t have this with my first sweep
