Has anyone else had symptoms disappear? I'm very early (only 5+5) and had some strong cramps, back ache, sore boobs and tearful for a week straight and now nothing at all for the past 3 days, is this normal? I'm not normally an anxious person but I feel quite anxious since finding out, only took 1 test which said 2-3 on blear blue so I've ordered another to see if it says 3+ -- need someone to tell me to stop worrying already 😂

Absolutely, this is completely normal!

My symptoms ramped up more at the 7/8 week mark but everyone is different

PollyDarton1 · 01/06/2023 14:17

This is really common! I don't think my symptoms properly kicked in (after initial ones) until 8-9 weeks.

justme2022 · 01/06/2023 14:30

With my first my symptoms disappeared overnight at about 6 weeks. The soreness, nausea, tearfulness all gone. Product of that pregnancy is currently at nursery no doubt thinking up ways to destroy the house when she gets home.
I know "don't panic" is so easy to say and a lot harder to do but symptoms disappearing doesn't mean anything's wrong.

Hi OP.

I understand and sympathise. The loss of pregnancy symptoms causes panicky feelings, but in reality, it is completely normal for these symptoms to fluctuate throughout your pregnancy.

Please don't think it's all over. This is a very natural thing to worry about but the truth is that most women experience a loss of symptoms at times.
Wishing you well.

Yes normal. In both pregnancies I really only had strong symptoms in week 6.

youaremysunshine03 · 01/06/2023 16:18

Yes this was me only last week, as soon as I hit the 6 week mark all my symptoms disappeared for over a week and have now come back with a vengeance!! Had a scan today and everything is as it should be ☺️ I know it’s hard not to worry, I got myself into a bit of a state panicking and googling and thinking the worst

Harriet669 · 01/06/2023 18:18

Thanks for the reassurance, I did take another weeks indicator and it still says 2-3, which it said a week ago - feeling worried as I thought it would have gone up to 3+

@Harriet669 Hi Harriet, I too am experiencing a lack of symptoms now at 6weeks. My boobs were quite sore before but woke up today and they aren’t as sore as they were. Just wanted to know how you got on and if this is normal? I haven’t had many other symptoms yet.. the odd dizzy spell, mild cramping, but no sickness. Hard not to worry!

MrsCass88 · 01/07/2023 22:40

I didn't start getting any symptoms till 6 weeks at the earliest and that was manily just nauses which unfortunately has got worse and still suffing at 12 weeks. I am hoping very soon I can get through a day without being sick or feeling like I need too. Sore breast started in last few weeks and comes and goes and isn't constant. I do know ladies who have had healthy pregnancies who experienced very mild symptoms 😊

LavenderSweetPea · 02/07/2023 00:03

I'm having the same thing (7+6) I've been feeling mildly naseous and generally not hungry for about two weeks, woke up this morning feeling totally normal, and boob pain gone too. So hard not to worry but I only had a scan on Tuesday (all ok then at 7+1) but it's hard not to worry 😭

Nat6999 · 02/07/2023 00:27

My period type symptoms cleared up around the time the morning sickness started, I never had sore boobs & my sickness stopped after 3 weeks. I had 2 losses before I had ds & I panicked right through until my 20 week scan.

TheShellBeach · 02/07/2023 12:18

@Harriet669 How are you now? Is everything all right?

Harriet669 · 14/07/2023 05:54

@TheShellBeach hi sorry I've just seen this!
Yep all okay 12 weeks on Tuesday, symptoms came with vengeance nausea/migraines/constipation all the glamour 😂 easing off now tho!
