Self referral wait times Princess Anne Southampton

Hi, can anyone tell me how long they had to wait between self referring & getting your booking appointment at the Princess Anne? TIA

Hi, I self referred a couple of weeks ago and have not heard anything yet. With my first pregnancy, 2 years ago, I chased them as had not heard anything by 10 weeks. I ended up having my 12 scan before my booking appointment as they were so far behind!

Thanks @JaffaCake123 I self referred 5 weeks ago! They called me 3 weeks ago and told me they'd call within 2 weeks, I called last week & they said end of last week, beginning of this week they'd call me, and I'm still waiting!
That's insane! I appreciate they are a maternity hospital so are busy doing pretty much just this, but don't put timescales if you can't stick to them! Sorry rant over!

It is really frustrating, when other areas are seeing people a lot quicker. I know it is not the midwives fault and they are probably massively understaffed though.

@JaffaCake123 I know what you mean, I'm on a threat that people have self referred, been called within days, had their booking appointments, and are 3 weeks behind me in terms of due date!
When are you due? X

I am due in January. I called the booking team last week and they said I would not even get a call about when the booking appointment would be until 10 weeks! It seems so late😕

Ah same, but I'm early Jan! Are you on the Jan 2024 babies thread? I finally had my booking in app last week (at 10 weeks), and I have my scan on 3rd July at 13+5! If I hadn't said I didn't mind traveling a little for my booking in appt I wouldn't have had it until WC 17th June, but we're on hol that week.
