Im 43 , 5 days late, regular periods every 25-27 days but bleeding is very very light. Sometimes only a bit for just 1 day. I seem to go through the cycle, with pmt, and feeling good in weeks 1 and 2. I have a 15 year old daughter. No real symptoms just a bit snappy.

My mum had an early menopause ( late 30s) i thought i was going through peri.. so done a test, for many many reasons it wouldn't be good news. What do you think? Positive or not?

That looks pretty positive. If you have doubts you could try a digital test?

Positive but I would expect a darker line at 5 days late

Positive - are you 5 days late for a 25 day cycle or a 27 day cycle?
