I am pregnant with my second baby. My first baby I had a massive baby shower- it was perfect. I said as soon as I conceived that I didn’t want a baby shower with this pregnancy as I had one and it was perfect- I have everything I need. I am pregnant with the same gender as my first. But now, I have heard that my mum and my sisters are organising a surprise baby shower- they don’t know that I know. I really don’t want one but I feel bad- what if they have already bought party things? How do I go about saying I don’t want one without saying I know about the surprise? 🙈 what would you do?

I just don’t know what to do 🙈 I really don’t want one - but I feel so bad because I know they’re only trying to be nice and I don’t know how to say it because they don’t know I know they’re throwing the surprise 🙈🙈🙈

Maybe just say you know of someone who’s pregnant with their second and having a baby shower which you find odd as it’s traditionally only for the first. Mention your baby shower was perfect and you would feel uncomfortable having another one. Hopefully they’d get the hint.

Just tell them what you've told us.....sooner rather than later!

Maybe you could.compromise on a small tea party with close family or something
