Has anyone got any experience of this type of result on a test please? I've never seen this before....

It just means your HCG levels are high enough that most of the dye gets pulled by the test line so the control line is fainter, some refer to it as a 'dye stealer'. This is mine at 5+5.

Thank you for explaining, I wasn't sure if the test was faulty. I never knew dye could be pulled like this. You learn something every day! ☺️

I'm not sure if it's a thing on all brands of tests, but it definitely is on First Response 😊

This is how my test looked when I found out I was pregnant with number 2... I thought the test was faulty but nope, just very pregnant! 😂

I misread you, I thought you said 'pregnant with 2' 😁

I have an early scan in just over a week. Hopefully, it'll be just that, very pregnant!

Perhaps it's a marketing gimmick? So we buy more! ☺️
I've since read around the subject, and I didn't know 'dye stealers' are an actual thing!
