Ok so I have 3 children all born via planned c section we have always wanted 4 and firstly, I'd like to hear from anyone who has had more than 3 sections did you have complications? Secondly I am now 36 and woukd love to be ttc 4 this year but unfortunately our situation means it would be better to wait a while longer meaning I would be 37 will this casue further problems will I be too old to have a baby by then?

Following as I have one DS via C section and pregnant with DC2. Thinking VBAC as Googling says multiple c sections carry more risks each time so I’d like to know what others have done with 3-4 babies

I wouldn't say 37 is too old for a 4th baby. I'm pregnant with my second and due when I'm 39. No issues with conceiving but I suppose that really depends on the person. Want another planned c section for this baby too, and would do for a third. You would need to check with a midwife/consultant regarding risks. I think for the majority it would still be quite low?

Thanks for the reply and its quite a relief to hear age shouldn't be a problem.
I was cleared at my 3rd c section to have another but that was 9 years ago

I’ve had 6 sections and ttc #7 , minimal scar tissue was noted at last section and uterus wasn’t too thin but they only let me got to 36-37 weeks from section 4 onwards

I was 40 at the time of section 6 so you definitely aren’t too old !

My mum had my brother by csection when she was 45
