Faint lines on pregnancy tests not getting darker

Hello!
we have been trying for our first baby and this is the first time I have tested positive but I am worried the pregnancy isn’t developing as it should as the faint line isn’t really getting darker. Did anyone else have this and the pregnancy carried to full term or is it a bad sign?

13 DPO - Negative Clear Blue Test (No photo)
14 DPO - Faint Positive Strip Test (brown background photo)
15 DPO - Faint Positive Strip Test and Clear Blue (see both in photo)
18 DPO - Stronger but still faint strip test (white background with one test in it), also did a digital test which said pregnant 1-2 weeks, not photographed.
21 DPO - 2 Faint Positive Strip Test (2 in photo with white background). I’m worried that this is lighter than the one taken on 18 DPO. But either way, shouldn’t this line be darker by now?

DPO is based on period tracking app, I didn’t do a test for ovulation. I have also been having symptoms - nausea, mood swings, constipation and light cramping. I have used the same test strips throughout.

would appreciate any stories of similar situations.

thanks so much!

I know is torturous taking tests, waiting and hoping each day for signs that everything is OK but honestly those two latest tests are not faint at all. They are a BFP. I don't think mine were ever darker. You have lots of symptoms as well, it all points to everything be fine. Fingers crossed for you

OP, tests will not give you any clarity. So I really recommend to stop testing. Maybe try and have blood tests done if you can. They will give you some results you can rely on. Best of luck

When I used Easy@Home cheap pregnancy strips, nothing got darker from 15 to 22 or so dpo. And my beta test result did rise from 200s to 600s. It did not reflect on the urine test.

I would say try to stay calm (impossible during this time, but trust me). As a chronic worrier, my nurse told me that stress is more dangerous in pregnancy (can increase blood pressure, disturb progesterone) than uncertainty.

All the best and god bless!

Don't bother testing repeatedly and analysing, that's a clear positive. I had a strong positive for over a month after having a miscarriage so they don't tell you anything.

If you're nervous you could get an early private scan at about 7/8 weeks

Good luck x
