Bleeding but no cramps

Hi,

Currently 11 weeks pregnant and tonight have experienced some bright red bleeding that I noticed after wiping. The out of hours EPU said to monitor and put a pad on, there's been no blood on the pad and just a tiny bit since on the toilet paper. I've got zero cramps or pain which makes me more hopeful that it might not be a miscarriage? I've experienced an early miscarriage in the past and that started with really painful cramping. I'm also concerned because my boobs are nowhere near as painful and I haven't felt sick for the last couple of days which I put down to approaching the end of the first trimester but now worried it might be a miscarriage sign.

I had a scan at 10+3 and all looked absolutely fine with a strong heartbeat, etc.. I'm planning to book a private scan tomorrow and I know the only thing I can do is to wait and see but just wondering if anyone can share their experiences while I'm sat here waiting... Thanks x

Hey OP, I'm sorry you're going through this, I know it must be so worrying.

I think your recent ultrasound is really encouraging and chances of a miscarriage are less than 1% at this stage.

I had some red spotting at 14 weeks and really panicked. I went to epu and they've said I have a low lying placenta so doing too much/carrying heavy things isn't advised, but all OK with baby.

Your epu should hopefully offer you a reassurance scan, if it's worrying you.

@Alloveragain3, thank you for your response and kind words. Glad all was okay for you!

Just to update in case anyone searches for this, the bleeding has turned to brown discharge today, I had a private scan as the EPU is closed for the bank holiday and measuring 11 + 2 with a strong heartbeat. The bleeding is likely cervical although she didn't check my cervix but said there was no bleed in the uterus area.

Fantastic news! I'm so glad it worked out well and you got to see little one.
