37 weeks anyone in same boat ?

37 weeks with 3rd baby, I am an emotional wreck with major braxton hicks but nothing happening. My DS was 2 days early and my DD bang on due date so it think wishful thinking this baby going to be soon. How are other people getting on?

I’m 38 weeks and 2 days… with my 3rd baby!
bang on my due dates for my other two pregnancies, and getting extremely anxious at any little pain etc. wasn’t like this with other pregnancies lots and lots of b hicks they are so intense too never had them like this before.

I painted my kitchen yesterday so probably not helping matters 🙈

Yes I'm 38+5 today and getting really impatient.

DD was born at 42 weeks though so not feeling very optimistic that this little one will be here anytime soon 😂

Having awful braxton hicks as well, and back ache - midwife says baby is back to back so I'm hoping he turns soon!

38 with second. DS was born 41+1. Loads of braxton hicks this time, none with DS. Convinced this one would be early at 35 weeks (painful BH, very low in pelvis, other “signs” of labour approaching) but now he seems to have settled in and I don’t think he’s ready.
I am very excited though.

I'm 38 and 1 today and my c section is on Friday. Can't wait.

39+1, third baby. Last (16 months ago) was emcs

Desperately trying/hoping to avoid induction or section at the end of this week! Had a sweep on Saturday but doesn't seem to have done anything unfortunately, but cervix was soft and 1cm so that's something. Had upset tummy this morning and praying it's a sign!!

Have you had any other “signs”. I am just so emotional must be crying like 10 plus times a day. I never felt like this any of my other pregnancies

Not so much the crying I’m just so anxious 😩

I’m 37+1, booked to go for section at 39+1. Have a thread started on this but noticed today just that my bump has gone soft at the bottom. Tempted to ring the hospital to see if that’s normal. Baby moving ok just weird given it’s been rock hard and now I can grab it??

apart from that I’ve just been so tired and grumpy and feel like a walking walrus 99% of the time.

Had increased discharge fairly regularly for a couple of weeks now (which I didn't have with my last 2 pregnancies) but nothing else really :(

I had a weird bout of contractions at about 34/35 weeks which were lasting a minute and about 5 minutes apart but stopped after an hour or so. Also was having proper contractions while being monitored at 36 weeks but couldn't feel them at all! Dr was a bit confused and tested me for preterm labour but came back clear and obviously nothing came of it as I'm still pregnant! But no signs recently apart from the upset tummy this morning (and that may be nothing anyway). Had a moment earlier where I thought I might be leaking waters but I think I just sat in something wet 😂

37 weeks today!

I am MISERABLE

It's #2 for me. I have developed PGP and can't walk without a serious hobble/limp, also have gotten piles which I have never had before!

I have loved both pregnancies up until about a week ago and now I am ready to not be pregnant any more but also terrified of life with a toddler and a newborn.

DS born 4 days past due date so expecting this baby is roughly around due date so 3 weeks to go, but who really knows!

Can't get on and do the million jobs I wanted to do as in so much pain!

Hope everyone is coping much better than me!

Go for me but was just reading through this thread and saw your comment only 5 mins ago! How exciting! Was it a big gush or a trickle? How are you feeling?

I’m only 2cm so possibly going home soon just waiting for some tests to come back. I was hoping for a short labour! 🙈

sorry, it was a little trickle followed by a few gushes managed to get out of bed and to the toilet though 😂 I was just about to go to sleep 😴

@MelissaD10 aww have you been contracting?
Either way with waters gone you are so close to meeting your baby! Do you know what gender you're having?

I think I’ve been possibly contracting with no pain the last two days… I’ve literally painted my kitchen today!!!! 😳
baby should be here by the end of the day at least! So nervous about labour but I can do this

Still nothing here, though did have a bit of nesting energy last night. Though had that with last dc over a week before I went in for induction. But useful as house is a mess!

Really I need this baby to come today or tomorrow, or wait til the w/e as have important stuff going on and childcare issues Thursday and Friday 😬 midwife tomorrow where I can have another sweep. I'll be glad to know whether I'm any more dilated/effaced regardless - will probably attempt balloon induction if cervix is favourable enough.

How you feeling @Mummykittykat ? I find that I have some days where I feel so fed up and some days where I feel calmer and more relaxed. Hope today is one of those for you

Also feel your pain @snickersicecreampls I've also got pgp and it's just awful :( not constant for me luckily but when it starts playing up it's so painful and debilitating!

Hopefully good news for you tomorrow and baby comes soon. Yeah today seems to be a calmer day. I am booked on Tuesday for sweep with midwife but I am the same it would be so much better for baby to be here in coming days for childcare and also running out of clothes that fit now. 😂

I'm booked in for balloon induction today :( got to call at half 8 for a time to go in. Dreading it tbh. And really worried about leaving my 16 month old for who knows how long 😢
