Heartbeat at 6 weeks?

I have a scan on Tuesday with EPU and I did say how early I was but she only bumped it a few days.

I’ll be 5+6 to 6+1, I’ve read over and over and it’s quite tight as to whether I’ll see a heartbeat.

Did you see one if you had an early scan same dates as me?

6+4 and 6+5 I saw one in both my pregnancies.. I think 5 and a half is about the earliest you could possibly see one but also if there wasn’t one at that stage I think it would be quite normal. When I booked both my early scans I told myself I was only going if I was going to be okay with their not being one if I’d booked it a week early and I said I was but realistically I’d still have been gutted and way more anxious if there hadn’t been! I found the second time that I was obviously delighted to see a heartbeat flickering away but maybe because I’d seen my last baby (my son) as a huge baby on the screen by the end and this was then back to the start, a little blob with a flashing dot really didn’t give me much reassurance at all and I still felt like it could really go either way so I ended up back for another one at 9 weeks.

I was 6+3 and measured 5+5 on the scan and there was a heartbeat

I was exactly 6 weeks yesterday and saw a strong heartbeat. I know lots of people who didn’t see it until 7 weeks +.

I saw one at 6 + 1 at a scan at the EPU but wasn’t expecting to!

6+3 and DS1 didn't have a hb
6+0, and DS2 did.
Both born within a day of their EDD.

So measured at 6+0 and saw a strong heartbeat today!
