Black spot in discharge - 12 weeks

Hi all,

Never experienced anything like this and can't find anything on google. I went to the toilet earlier and amongst my (now-usual) mucusy discharge there was a black spot. It was the shape of a kidney bean but was tiny, maybe 1-2mm big so not large by any means. Just a bit confused as I've heard of discharge being tinged with colours from pink to brown but never black?

Should I be concerned? I had a bit of cramps earlier but nothing too extreme and they seem to have stopped now. It was just very strange Confused

My clinic said if there was a problem it would be a fairly large clot. At least a £1 piece size x

@CR7 thank you for replying, that's reassuring to know! I feel like it was just the colour of it that made me feel a bit concerned, as it was absolutely tiny but haven't seen anything since so hoping it's just been a random event x
