hi! i'm 18 and a half weeks, and i've heard many people have really bad heart burn, but i've not had any signs, is this a bad thing?
I've also got a normal placenta but haven't felt/seen any movement (internal or external), when did you all start feeling first movements?

Midwife here. Heartburn is not a sign of a healthy or even an unhealthy pregnancy. As someone who suffers with horrendous heartburn when I'm not pregnant enjoy it 😂 you may find as baby gets bigger and your stomach is a bit more squished that you get a bit, or you may still be lucky and get none at all.

Some first time mums may not feel any movement until 24 weeks but any time up until 20 weeks is quite usual. It'll start to feel like butterfly type movements at first or possibly like trapped wind.

I started getting heartburn around 2 weeks ago at 26 weeks, I think now cause my bump is bigger. I've had it occasionally in the past but not that often. If you don't get it, enjoy 😂

First felt baby movement at almost 22 weeks
