Slow progression lines?

Hi all,

Posting nervously here so be gentle with me.. We found out we’d had a missed miscarriage at 10 weeks, on Christmas Day 2022, and in our second month of trying again, just found out we’re pregnant. Of course, we’re over the moon and hoping this baby sticks, but feeling equally nervous.

Got a super super faint positive (barely shows on camera) at 9DPO. The Premom tests were the faintest of all the brands I’d checked with, but have used them daily for tracking progression consistency and just to use up those tests.

I got a CB digital “Pregnant” at 9DPO, and a clear positive on a FRER at 10DPO. I’m now 18 DPO and feel like the progression is very slow. It’s definitely getting darker but not sure if it should be darker than this by now? So scared of a chemical..

I’ve ordered a CB weeks test, coming tomorrow to see what it says. I make myself 4wks+5 today, so hoping it’ll show 2-3 weeks when I test tomorrow.

Anyone else had this experience with the Premom strips or progression in general?

Hello,

my DD (currently 7 months) was conceived 2 years after my miscarriage and my anxiety drove me crazy. I don’t know about the lines because I only did 2 tests but my advice would be please stop testing, you’ll drive yourself crazy. I know it’s a lot easier said than done because I spent soooo much money on private scans and looking back, I wish I’d let myself relax more and enjoyed my pregnancy. Best of luck

All perfectly normal to me.

Lots of us go a bit mad with testing and over analysing, its completely normal to want signs your baby is OK. I think I had a million scans with my first, always convinced something would go wrong. Of course I'd recommend to you now to try relax and stop testing as it will drive you crazy but easier said than done!

Thanks both, you’re right. Testing is definitely doing more harm than good but been so anxious. Not told anyone yet, not even parents cos we’re just so uncertain. Hope this pregnancy goes to plan, all we can hope for xx

@hopingforarainbowbabe congrats and good luck. I totally understand you, also had several miscarriages. I found out about pregnancy at 4 weeks and only told my partner at 9 weeks. I should be now close to 11 weeks, had several scans and my anxiety is still over the top. But it was easier for me to cope with it on my own. So I think it's a good idea not to share just yet. Maybe would help if you had blood tests done to see how you stand.

Fingers crossed.

Easier said than done, but put the tests down!

I was super stressed when I missed my period, so didn't even test until I was five days late. I've seen other women told that the same kind of line in the same date was "far too faint for the date".

It was pretty similar to your 18dpo line. I'm now 18 weeks.
