Early positive, terrified something will be wrong

So I'm 5 days earlier than my missed period, (I think 8dpo) been having the most tender and painful boobs for the past couple of days. Decided to test at 11pm this evening and was so shocked to see such a strong line.

I have 2 children just now and had never had such a positive first result with either of them even after a missed period.

I'm now so anxious that something could be wrong? Or its a false test?
Really wanting to get excited but at the same time I'm so cautious!

Anyone had experience with such a strong positive so early?

That’s a positive as much as any other and doesn’t mean anything else! Congratulations!

I tested a week before missed period I have 2 boys already and I just had a feeling and I got strong positives to 😁 found out 3 days ago I am having a little girl so yeah you can get positives early congratulations 🎉x

Depending on when you actually ovulated can determine how early you get a positive. I had a positive like yours 8 days before period was due. I wasn't properly tracking that month and was feeling off so tested. It was only after positive test I realised when I was due on. And, it reflected in my due date as well, via scans.

It'll depend on when you implanted too

Yes, very true. Pardon me for leaving that out

Thank you everyone.

I've no idea what to expect this already feels very different to my pregnancies with my 3yr old and my 18mnth old.

Im now 3 days before missed period and here are my tests, looking stronger I think?

But I've just experienced some mucusy tinged spotting when I wiped? Is that normal? My anxiety is through the roof. I had no spotting at all with my last 2😔

For context (and maybe some insight if anyone can help me to make sense of the timings) as I have no idea how far along I am. Last period 5th-10th May. BD on 13th, 15th, 17th.
Cycles are usually 26/27 days long

Great lines! Could be implantation bleed?

LalalaBubs · 29/05/2023 16:31

@OneMoreCookieMonster I did think this but for some reason had it in my head that implantation has to happen before you even get a positive result? My 1st positive test was a coupke of days ago too

Is that wrong? Xx

@LalalaBubs I had some brown blood in discharge at 13 weeks and at EPU they couldn’t find a reason why and said it could have been blood taking awhile to come out from implantation. I’m now 27 weeks.

I had a very strong line early with my twins. Also implantation bleeding

Janefx40 · 29/05/2023 17:20

You can have implantation bleeding over a period of time not just literally at implantation. I had proper blood when I wiped the day I tested positive. 2 week old boy currently asleep on my chest xx

Congrats x
