Hi everyone, I'm currently on CD23 and 8? maybe 9dps I'm not sure. This was a lovely surprise.

These are my tests at 11pm tonight. Anyone else have quite strong lines 5 days before missed period and so late at night?

Twins run in the family so Im wondering if theres any correlation.

Early positive? Twins?

I tested a couple of days before my period was due feeling like shit a nd got a positive. My twins are now 3.5.

Congrats no matter how many are inside 😁

On which side of the family? My husbands family think twins run in their family. We have them and my sister in law. Can’t make them understand that none of them have a twin gene!

My twin positive was no stronger than any others but the sickness was overwhelming from day one.

congrats!

@Opine my mum is a twin🥰

Would love it either way, just looking for baby to be healthy regardless of how many. Thank you!

That is a strong line for 8 or 9 DPO! Twins are possible for sure with early lines like that. Congratulations and wishing you a healthy pregnancy for you and your baby (or babies!)

Fraternal twins 'run in families', identical twins occur randomly.

I had very early strong positives, high HCG in all my pregnancies and no twins. There's a lot of natural variation in level of HCG in even when there's only one.

Quornflakegirl · 27/05/2023 13:31

I had a squinter positive at 8dpo. My twins are 10.

MamaA8146 · 27/05/2023 13:37

@Opine Absolutely, my mum is non identical! 🙂

@EliflurtleTripanInfinite You're definitely right! Just found this a bit different to my previous pregnancies where I havent been able to see a positive line on any type of test this early x

I had a squinted mine 8dpo and it turned out to be twins, thought hadn't even crossed my mind. Congrats x

DahliaRose · 27/05/2023 13:48

I had a very strong long but just one healthy baby boy 💙

DahliaRose · 27/05/2023 13:49

Strong line !! Not long :p

Opine · 27/05/2023 14:49

@wyntersuhn still only matters on the woman’s side though. DH’s family all expect they’ll have twins now. They’ve got as much chance as the rest of the population!

PickledScrump · 27/05/2023 15:38

Could be twins, could have ovulated earlier than you thought, could just have higher hcg levels

TellKingTutIWantMyMummy · 27/05/2023 15:51

Mine were like this at 3w6d. No twins.
