Are these getting lighter?! :(

I’m so worried, I don’t have as many symptoms at 15 DPO as I did with my first, except I am very dizzy/feeling faint and a bit of nausea which I didn’t have before.

I’ve got some health things going on this time round which makes me feel like the stakes are so high with this going well. I can’t relax and I’m testing like mad. The line not getting darker is very alarming too. If this doesn’t go well, I don’t know how many more attempts we can do before I have to decide to treat my health thing instead.

I am going for blood tests tomorrow.

Anyone have similar experience with pregnancy tests?

Any advice welcome 🙏 xxx

The bottom one is lighter than the middle one, yes. But...

  1. There's something called the hook effect which can make pregnancy tests go lighter as the hormone levels increase, so it's not necessarily a sign of a problem.
  2. I'm sure you already know this, but pregnancy tests are not designed to be used this way. They're accurate for pass/fail, they're not accurate to measure progression.

Step away from the pregnancy tests!

My test at 14dpo was lighter than the one at 11dpo. I’m now 18 weeks pregnant. As pp said, step away from the tests. Honestly they just caused more anxiety

Don't worry, it can also depend on you water intake. Unless you count your water intake, one can never be sure how much water they drink in a day. Also, update us please :)

All the best to you!

12 DPD and 15PM look pretty much the same. The top one does look fainter. But as others have said there could be other reasons for this.

Stop testing. It’s not helping you and there’s no cause for concern, so many things can make the line lighter.

Thank you everyone! ❤️❤️

I had a blood test to check yesterday and my HCG levels was 209 for 16 DPO which I think is relatively positive.

I’ll go again on Tuesday to be sure it’s definitely going up then I’ll step away.

Will keep you guys posted!

Again thank you for all your support 🥰

I found out at 2.5 (8dpo) weeks that I was pregnant. Since then I’ve took a good amount of test that only got darker, 11dpo my digital said 2-3.

im now 7wks 5days and I took another test out of curiosity and the line is quite faint, is this something I should be worrying about? I’ve not had any bleeding & symptoms haven’t really changed.

@Rob97 I'd maybe take a digital CB & see if you get a 3+ weeks with that, which you should at this point. There is something called the hook effect but from what I've read it's not particularly common. If you take a sample & dilute it with water it should give you a darker line, have a google. Good luck🤞🏼
