It's looking long, luscious and dark. Mmm lovely! Is it safe to bleach while pregnant? I'm 8 weeks.

i too am Poirot-esque without bleach so I've continued throughout two pregnancies.

I was told not to but you could always ask a beauty therapist - they will have covered it in their training and may be able to recommend the right stuff.

get the thing waxed off instead!

MrsMacaroon · 20/02/2008 23:54

hannahjb- what about regrowth?

hannahjb · 21/02/2008 09:36

my regrowth isn't bad at all, it gets less and less every time I go, the best option is electrolysis but that is super bloody painful on the upper lip, I let my lady do a few at a time and then wax the rest. The ones that do get electrolysised don't come back at all! I just wish that I started waxing my little furry friend years ago!!!!!

Forget the bleach. You just end up with a blond long & luscious moustache. Waxing is the best. I do my own with Veet. A little painful 1-2 time but it gets easier.

With electrolysis you have to let the thing grow out first - long & dark - otherwise it doesn't work. Plus you have to keep going back to zap regrowth. Plus expensive. Nah! Wax is the way to go.

I pay £10 for half an hour of electrolysis and my lady says not to let them get too long because whilst they are growing, they are just getting stronger, honestly, every one she has zapped, hasn't come back, I think that everyone is probably different, I would highly recommend it though, but if you don't fancy it, then waxing is the way forward.

bleach actually works well for me because I don't have a 'long and luscious' tash- just that the hairs there are dark but I know as you get older things can get a bit 'bearded lady' so I'll maybe try waxing at that point. I have a friend who had her nipples electrolysized- ouch!

wax it fgs

I have mine (small amount of hair at side of mouth, on one side oddly enough) done and my eyebrows about every 6 weeks or so
