I need help, I've been feeling really sick and stuff lately, me and my partner split up a few weeks ago, I thought I'd take a test just to rule it out
Picture is clearblue early response test which I'm pretty sure looks positive
But the digital clearblue says not pregnant
Any advice would be amazing ❤️

Following because i was just about to post the exact same question! With basically the exact same pic!

That’s not a complete line, it’s broken in the middle. I’d say you need to retest using FMU & read the test in the time specified.

PinkChampange · 25/05/2023 23:46

If I got that result I'd get a clear blue digital test just to make sure

PickNewName · 25/05/2023 23:48

Op has done a digital.

Whataretheodds · 25/05/2023 23:49

When is/was your period due, OP?

PaperSheet · 26/05/2023 07:56

I would say that's invalid. Clue blue often give false lines which they often are if they look weird. Take another one and only look at it in the time frame.

OneMoreCookieMonster · 26/05/2023 08:15

I'd retest...try a pink dye test.

If you broke up a few weeks ago depending on when you last had sex, I'd expect a more solid line for sure.

Do you know when you're due on?

KayKay18 · 26/05/2023 09:48

So I'm due on in 9 days

It's definitely not a positive line then. You won't get a positive that early. Esp not one as strong as that. But you could still take another pink dye one to be sure nearer your period if you wanted. But if you last had sex a few weeks ago you're highly unlikely to be pregnant.

You’re far too early. Tests can’t tell you that early. That test is invalid as the line is broken, clearblue are absolutely terrible at showing a line when they are negative.

Do you know when you ovulated? An average luteal phase (time between ovulation and period) is around 14 days and doesn’t really change much each cycle. If your period is still 9 days away it’s likely that you only ovulated around 5 days ago. So it’s highly unlikely you are pregnant if you and your partner split up a few weeks ago.
