Baby low down 17 weeks pregnant ?

Had a private scan yesterday to find out gender and got told I’m having a baby girl.
although couldn’t measure her head because she was so low down tucked into me . Noted ‘extreme cephalic lie’ which google says it means that the baby is just low down to make birth easier . I’ve also noticed my bump is really low too. Is this concerning? Will I go into early labour with this? I’m just worried with how low my bump looks too.

By the way this is my first pregnancy, I read alot of threads with people saying this is more common with someone who’s been pregnant more than once cause muscles are weaker ?

Seems like a good thing tbh. Nothing to worry about. Baby’s that are low down still come when they’re ready. There’s also lots of time for things to change, baby is going to get much bigger!

They might make you go back lots of times for the NHS 20 week scan though if they can’t get all the measurements. Again it doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong, the sonographers just have a list of things they should check.

It'll be interesting for you to see where baby is in a few weeks time!

@PinkPlantCase thank you ! Everyone commenting how low my bump is worries me only being 17 weeks 🤣 I figured just cause she has loads of room in there but then heard people saying low down means baby is getting ready !

They move around still loads at the moment. My baby is sometime up high and sometimes low at nearly 27 weeks. Nothing to worry about yet

@allgoodthings84 yet ? When should I worry

@Expectingfirstbaby23 I don’t think you should worry. Sorry not sure why I said yet. Honestly don’t worry about anything unless a professional sonographer gives you a reason to worry

Im 18 weeks and the baby is super low down. It's been so hard to scan but no one has been concerned. Took almost 10 minutes to find a heartbeat on the doppler! It's very uncomfortable on my bladder too.
